Day for night

It seems that about once every other quarter I get really lucky and my instructor Tom Moore takes my photo. This time he took my photo to demonstrate a technique called day for night. This shot looks like it may have been taken late at night with me under a street lamp, but IN FACT, it was taken in the middle of the day.
