This weekend I'm shooting a wedding in Lawrence, KS. I really enjoy shooting the occasional wedding. Freezing spontaneous moments of joy with a camera is fun. The only thing is... there are no reshoots when you're the wedding photographer! You can't shout from the back row, "Hey, kiss again. I missed it."
And tomorrow I'm a trash man! I'm working with Alpine Waste this quarter for a documentary assignment in digital storytelling. I was suppose to have my first ride along Saturday, but some wires got crossed and now it's tomorrow and only tomorrow. No. Re. Shoots.
I guess I'll have to channel a little bit of my inner Charlie Sheen. And I quote, "I've got one speed. Go." Wish me luck everybody!
I like the combination of the moody dress shot and the fresh look of the couple dwarfed by the statuette. I look forward to seeing the Alpine Waste photos from your next adventure.
